"I'm very grateful for what I have achieved with the support of my family and SAJIDA's SUDIN programme. I hope to receive more assistance from them in the future." - Aleya Begum, SUDIN Community Member
Aleya Begum is a proud mother of four daughters and a son. She is also the proud owner of a general store in Gazipur. Aleya received nearly a lifeline when SAJIDA's SUDIN programme extended an initial loan of BDT 20,000 to her. She invested this capital wisely in her shop, reaping the benefits of the wise decision over time. Emboldened by her initial success, Aleya sought assistance from SUDIN again.
Over time, Aleya's business acumen and SUDIN's support resulted in the prosperity and living standards of her family. The diligent SUDIN Sastho Bondhu (SSB) Apas, with their watchful eyes and caring hearts, played a pivotal role in ensuring her family's welfare. Now, Aleya's grandchild benefits from a nurturing educational environment in the community space. Furthermore, they receive essential medical and health services courtesy of the dedicated community Apas. These committed professionals also impart critical knowledge on issues like drug addiction and child marriage, ensuring that Aleya's family thrives in a supportive and informed community.
