SAJIDA’s Climate Change and Disaster Management (CCDM) Program has begun its journey in the district of Sunamganj. Present in the inauguration ceremony as the Chief Guest was Mr. M. A. Mannan MP, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Planning.

Md. Anwar Uz Zaman, UNO, Shantiganj was present as the Special Guest while Zahida Fizza Kabir, CEO, SAJIDA Foundation chaired the ceremony which reflected upon SAJIDA’s future climate change interventions and the urgency to address climate related issues in these areas. Md. Fazlul Hoque, Senior Advisor, SAJIDA Foundation and Dr. Samiya Selim, Advisor, Climate Change and Disaster Management where also present in the event.

CCDM, through its multifaceted interventions, aims to reduce vulnerability and increasing resilience in climate affected communities.
