An agreement was signed between SAJIDA Foundation’s Microfinance Programme and WeGro Technologies on November 30, 2023.

The agreement was signed by Sarder Akhter Hamed, Chief Operating Officer and Md. Shafiul Alam, Director of SAJIDA Foundation’s Microfinance Programme and Md. Mahmudur Rahman and Md. Alvi Rahman, Co-Founders of WeGro Technologies Limited.

This agreement sets out the framework for a partnership between SAJIDA’s Microfinance Programme and WeGro.

The purpose of this partnership is to jointly collaborate on a project aimed at providing financial assistance, valuable advice, and essential resources to farmers and small agricultural businesses in sectors such as aquaculture, poultry, cattle, horticulture, and crops, in a bid to enhance the economic growth and development of these businesses.

In this partnership, WeGro will act as the implementing partner, facilitating the provision of support to farmers, while SAJIDA will play a pivotal role in extending financial services and assistance to the target beneficiaries.
