As the local implementing partner of Plan International Bangladesh’s Integrated Sponsorship Programme, SAJIDA Foundation was honoured to host H.E. Håkon Arald Gulbrandsen, the Norwegian Ambassador to Bangladesh, at our Pavement Dwellers Centre, in Maniknagar.

During the visit, the Ambassador:
- Engaged with youth leaders benefiting from economic empowerment initiatives, gaining financial independence and skills for a better future.
- Learnt about the Fathers’ Café initiative, where fathers are breaking traditional norms by learning to actively engage in childcare and practice gender-equal parenting.
- Visited early learning and childcare centres, witnessing firsthand how young children receive education, care, and nutrition in a safe and nurturing environment.

The visit showcased how education, financial inclusion, and community-driven initiatives are transforming lives. With continued collaboration, we remain committed to driving sustainable change.
