SAJIDA Foundation participated in the 9th Social Business Youth Summit (SBYS 2025) on 01 Feb 2025, where young leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers engaged and drove conversations on social business and innovation. A key highlight was the launch of the Orange Corners Innovation Fund in Bangladesh, an initiative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. SAJIDA Foundation will implement the programme in partnership with YY Ventures to bridge the financing gap for early-stage impact enterprises, offering grants and soft loans, alongside technical assistance and capacity building. Additionally, Sarah Iqbal, SAJIDA's Head of Impact Partners, joined a panel on building an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem, emphasising the need for collaboration, mentorship, and structural support.
Another key engagement was the fireside chat on sports and social change, moderated by Lamia Hafiz, Programme Manager, SAJIDA's Impact Partners and former Vice-Captain of the Bangladesh National Basketball Team. She spoke with Ironman Mohammad Shamsuzzaman Arafat, Bangladeshi Triathlete, on how sports can drive equity and inclusion.
At the SBYS Marketplace, SAJIDA Foundation’s social initiatives, SUDIN Sotta and Home and Community Care Limited, showcased their innovative solutions, contributing to conversations on sustainable development. SAJIDA believes in leading conversations and turning bold ideas into lasting impact.
