In partnership with Citi Foundation, SAJIDA Foundation successfully implemented a Flood Rehabilitation Program to support vulnerable communities affected by devastating floods in Comilla, Noakhali, and Feni. With Citi Foundation’s generous support, 300 flood-affected households—representing approximately 1,500 individuals—received vital assistance to rebuild their lives and livelihoods.

The program focused on three key pillars:

• Home and WASH Rehabilitation – Repaired flood-damaged houses and restored sanitation facilities to ensure safe and dignified living conditions.
• Livelihood Recovery – Supported livestock farmers, smallholder agricultural workers, and microentrepreneurs to restart income-generating activities.
• Resilience and Dignity – Empowered marginalized families, including women-headed households, to regain stability and economic independence.

Thanks to this collaboration, families like Sabina Yasmin’s, who lost everything in the flood, were able to rebuild their homes, restore access to clean water and sanitation, and revive their livelihoods with dignity and hope.
