The National Pension Authority (NPA) and the Commissioner's Office of Rajshahi Division jointly organised a daylong fair and workshop focusing on the Sarbojanin Pension Scheme (Universal Pension Scheme) at Hazi Muhammad Mohsin Government High School in Rajshahi city on 19 April 2024. The event aimed to familiarise the public with the pension scheme and its contribution to the national economy. Key figures including Divisional Commissioner, Dr. Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir and Director of Local Government Division, Parvej Raihan addressed the press briefing regarding the scheme.

200 officials from government and non-government offices, financial institutions, and banks participated in the fair. SAJIDA Foundation actively participated in the workshop and had a stall in the fair that took place at the Jail Training Centre auditorium, with presentations by NPA officials and discussions led by prominent figures from related government bodies.

Moreover, to promote the universal pension scheme nationwide, the government plans to organise similar fairs across all divisions, with the NPA spearheading efforts to ensure widespread participation. Principal Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office, Mohammad Tofazzel Hossain Miah, inaugurated the fair in Rajshahi, which hosted around 117 stalls from various institutions, including banking booths for financial transactions, supported by local administration.
